John Rising formed Rising Design and Construction in 1999 starting up as a small design-build shop. He has a BA degree from San Francisco State University and worked in the product design field for many years before returning to the construction industry for good.
John is a certified green builder, a HERS rater, LEED AP and a Green Point Rater and is a member of BIG, USGBC, Sierra Club and KPFA.
All of our vehicles run on Biodiesel from Yokayo Biofuels. We employ many artisans who are all versed in green building techniques.
