McCaffrey Custom Construction is committed to utilizing green building practices whenever our clients allow us the opportunity.  By building green, we provide a healthier indoor environment for our clients and ourselves, as we are often exposed through our work to so many toxic materials.   In addition to the health benefits, we also provide potential cost savings over current standard practices as well as creating additional worth to the home’s resale value in some cases. 

Green building practices are designed to reduce the overall impact of the materials/structure on the environment as well as on human health.  This is done so by using materials made with non-toxic or less toxic ingredients, installing energy efficient appliances, water heaters and solar panels as well as recycling waste from the job rather than bringing it to a landfill.
